This notice describes the MU NEVERFADE development website and its game account services.

Account information

Registration processes your account name, password, seven-digit personal security code and optional email address. Sign-in and password changes process the credentials needed to authenticate your account. Character information is read from the game server for your account page.

Game account information is held with the game server. Passwords, personal security codes and email addresses are not part of the public website or public rankings.

Sign-in cookies

Signing in creates an essential session cookie used to keep your website session authenticated. It is marked Secure and HttpOnly and is not available to the website's JavaScript. Sessions expire after two hours; signing out ends the current session. A successful password change ends existing website sessions.

The website does not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts or browser storage for your password.

Public game information

Rankings may display character names, classes, levels, Master Levels, resets, guild details and game online status. The site also displays the aggregate online count and configured event schedule. Account names and email addresses are not published in rankings.

Technical connection information

The website host and game account service may process IP addresses, request times and connection details to deliver requests, limit abuse and protect account services. These details are not displayed publicly.

Optional email

An email address is optional at registration. Email verification and password recovery by email are not currently available. Do not rely on the website as a recovery service.

Development stage

The world is still being developed. This notice will be updated when account features or the way visitor information is handled changes.
